In these three villages, the existing handloom centres will be identified so that the girls can take training from them.  The girls come not only from the designated villages, but also from the nearby villages.  The training period will be 6 months.  Each centre will train 6 girls at each batch.  That means one centre will train 12 girls in a year, and 36 girls in three years.  The total girls expected to receive training in three centres will be 108 girls.

The girls who benefited from this training will have two opportunities; one is to establish their own loom by taking loan from the Department of Industries, Government of Mizoram. The second opportunity will be working at the existing handloom industry run by private enterprises.
